1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vidveda website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account, booking a consultation, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use the Platform. By using Vidveda, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Description of Service

Vidveda is an online platform that connects you with verified, BAMS-qualified Ayurvedic specialists for wellness consultations conducted over video or audio. Specialists may provide lifestyle guidance, dietary recommendations, and personalised care plans rooted in Ayurvedic practice.

Vidveda facilitates these consultations but does not itself practise medicine. The specialists are independent practitioners responsible for the care they provide.

4. Accounts & Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate health and personal information, to use the Platform only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform.

5. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

Your first consultation is free, with no payment required to book it. Subsequent consultations may be subject to fees, which will be clearly displayed before you confirm a booking.

You may reschedule or cancel a consultation in accordance with the cancellation window shown at the time of booking. Where a paid consultation is cancelled within an eligible window, any applicable refund will be processed to your original payment method.

6. Practitioner Independence

Specialists on Vidveda are independent professionals and not employees or agents of Vidveda. Any guidance, opinion, or care plan provided during a consultation is that of the individual specialist. Vidveda is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any specialist.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Vidveda and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without our prior written consent. Personalised care plans provided to you are for your individual, non-commercial use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vidveda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any consultation conducted through it. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vidveda and its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the location of Vidveda’s registered office in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
